Client: Thomson Reuters
Project: Panoramic, proprietary software
Role: User Experience Design; Visual Design
Description: “Project X”, as it was known by it’s working title, delivers a unique Legal Workflow Management System with unparalleled workflow guidance, collaboration tools, and business insights that transforms how lawyers practice and manage their business. Incorporating everything from task management, to legal research, “Project X” was designed to work with other Thomson Reuters proprietary software to create a “one-stop-shop” for medium and large firm legal needs.
Working directly with law professionals to gain insights into pricing processes, legal workflow, and case management, we conducted extensive journey mapping in order to identify and document user needs, pain points, and business opportunities. After taking these findings and creating numerous design directions, we conducted in-depth usability tests to validate designs and gather insights into usability improvements. Our findings directed us to a succinct design solution, which we then expanded into a design system to use across the final product design.
